~Bay Ship & Yacht is a modern shipyard located in Alameda, CA on the waterfront of San Francisco Bay. We provide drydocking and repair services to most commercial and government vessels on the Bay, including tugboats, ferries, Coast Guard cutters, cruise ships, pilot boats, yachts, and marine vessels of all kinds. The great variety of marine vessels drydocked at our shipyard provides challenging and interesting work.
We are seeking an experienced Facilities/Equipment Technician, qualified in the maintenance and repair of manlifts, forklifts, trucks, cranes, shop and electrical equipment, as well as the installation of new equipment and facilities/equipment upgrades. This position requires a competent individual with the ability to work on a wide range of equipment, unsupervised. The work is interesting and challenging; you will never be bored!
