~Bay Ship & Yacht is currently searching for a Supply Center Clerk to join our team based on the shores of the scenic Alameda Waterfront. This position will report directly to the Supply Center Supervisor. The position requires flexibility to meet deadlines and changing priorities associated with the changing demands of the company. Responsibilities include delivery of all consumables to and from job-sites from the Supply Center, Supply Center Inventory, and special projects (as needed). A successful candidate is someone who can work in a fast paced environment while being flexible to last minute requests as they arise.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Delivery of all consumables & tools to and from job-sites (menu’s & 911’s)
2. Maintain inventory levels within the Supply Center (stocking & ordering)
3. Coordinate with Shipping & Receiving of delivery of consumables to Supply Center and assist when necessary
4. Assist at the window on disbursement of consumables and tools
5. Assist with tool repair when necessary
6. Maintain cleanliness of Supply Center
7. Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Inventory Counts
8. Special Projects (as necessary)
Successful candidates for this position will possess:
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in an environment with constantly shifting priorities
• Solid computer skills
• Experience in Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse or Inventory, highly desired
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish candidates, encouraged to apply
