~Bay Marine Boatworks is a modern boatyard located in Richmond, California, on the waterfront of San Francisco Bay. We provide haulout and repair services to sail and power yachts, Coast Guard and commercial vessels, including water taxis, tugboats, pilot boats and marine vessels of all kinds. We are dealers for Volvo Penta engines and Northern Lights generators.
A Marine Machinist is an expert in the installation and overhaul of shipboard machinery, including the removal, repair/rebuild, installation and alignment of propellers, shafts, bearings, engines, generators and anchor windlasses. This is a skilled position requiring a full range of mechanical skill and knowledge in the overhaul and repair of modern marine machinery.
