Bay Ship & Yacht, the most interesting company to work for on the waterfront of San Francisco Bay, is seeking strong and entry-level candidates for pipefitting positions. Most of the yard’s  projects are supported by pipefitters - from small, quick turn-around jobs, to major overhauls and refits.

The ideal candidate has pipefitting experience in the marine industry but pipe work in other fields can be easily adapted with the right attitude, drive, and good mechanical abilities…the attributes most sought in our entry-level candidates!  The typical list of work includes (but is not limited to) the following:
Bay Ship & Yacht  provides dry-docking and repair services to most of the commercial and government vessels on the Bay, including tugboats, ferries, Coast Guard cutters, cruise ships, pilot boats, yachts, and marine vessels of all kinds. Our amazing workforce includes skilled welders, painters, machinists, electricians, dockmen, fabricators, and of course Pipefitters! These workers go about their challenging and interesting tasks in the most beautiful setting where the waters of San Francisco Bay meet the Oakland Estuary!   Not many workers in the Bay Area have the opportunity to work on the Bay waters where magnificent views abound…but our workers do!

We offer an excellent benefits package that includes: 401(k) plan with a profit sharing component, paid time off and holiday pay, and health, dental, and life insurance. If you’re seeking an exciting career on the waterfront of San Francisco Bay, we’d love to hear from you!
