Svendsen's Bay Marine is a modern boatyard located on the waters of San Francisco Bay on the Richmond Riviera, in Richmond, California. We provide haul-out and repair services for sail and power yachts, Coast Guard vessels, and commercial vessels, including water taxis, tugboats, pilot boats and other marine vessels of all kinds.
We are seeking a
Marine Systems Technician who is competent in the installation, maintenance and repair of general plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems and equipment on boats and yachts. RV Techs who are seeking a change of environment (We're on the water), are also welcome to apply. We welcome RV Techs because they often work on the same systems that we do!
Specific competencies include:
- fresh and salt water systems
- DC systems (12 and 24 volt)
- pumps
- steering systems
- propulsion systems
- yacht rigging systems
- Mechanical experience a plus

Volvo Penta, John Deere, Northern Lights, Cummins, Steyer, and MER Bollard. And then... an ABYC certification just might be in your future! We encourage personal growth and advancement and actively promote from within.
